It's a struggle to go back to work after clearing my leave. Yupin and I had set lunch at Ma Maison. It's like our greatest wish after starting work because everyday is so rush. Then went to Chinatown to get her beads. Ate a lot of nice food on the way. It's such a relaxing day that we mistook the day for Saturday on many occasion.

Back at work, there's a new seating plan. Don't really like my new seat, but couldn't do much either. Thankfully, I managed to clear my exploding mail box,unpacked all my stuff and sent my reports out way much faster than expected.

New seat comes with pros and cons. Can feel there's a distance now between a very close colleague. But at the same time, got to know other colleagues better. Went for lunch with one today. She's used to be from NJC and though we're one year apart, it turns out we know so many common friends between us. World is amazingly small, or maybe just Singapore? Haha.

Gosh, went for a course yesterday on Bonds market, and throughout I was scolding myself for not not paying any attention during FM classes. I learnt about all the stuff before and conveniently forgot everything after the paper. It seems so interesting how the interest for learning is only developed after school.

It was one of those inevitable occurrences that surfaces The Day After The Holiday. Major case of the blues as you head into the office, clocking in 10+6 hours whilst nursing that mysterious hangover.


Weaseled in an hour to catch up with telly banter while getting ready for a 5-hour nap. The markets continued its extensive bloodshed, destroying everything in its path, one write down at a time. The pain is apparently so overwhelming, people are getting delirious. In dire times, one can only believe in the power of irrationality.


Lets call my friend... Casualty.


Casualty: My commo is screwed
Me: Yes. Because you bought at a high
Casualty: No no... I bought at a low
Casualty: Then it went lower!
Me: ...
Me: If you bought at a low. And it went lower. (and lower and lower) Technically, you bought at a high.

It's been rainy and dreary today, so I'm going to share with you my sunny 08-08-2008.

we went on a date today, just like any other day. but today felt different, somehow.

it felt like we spent quality time together within the short span of time.

we went to peninsula plaza to choose material for his work shirts and looked around for his casual shoes.

headed to raffles city shopping center where we walked the basement a few rounds before we decided where to have our meal. usually he gets a bit irritated when i can't decide where to eat. today, we walked from subway to soup spoon, passing by ben&jerry's, thai express bistro and back to subway, before we finally settled for soup spoon. and he was so compromising and he didn't grumble! *surprise surprise* he said it's because he loves me. *blushes*.



and when we were enjoying our ben&jerry's, he blurted out that he found me very attractive while i was standing at the counter, deciding the flavors. haha. he said because i was at my most natural and was fully engrossed in what i was doing. of course lah, it takes skill to complement your sundae flavors k!

and today, i shall share one of my favourite physical attributes of andy.. HIS HANDS

♥ the hands that hold me close to him so that i dun trip and that he knows i'm nearby.

♥ the hands that will hold my skirt close to my legs when going up/down escalators so i dun expose myself.

♥ the hands that will pull me to the side that is safe from traffic.

♥ the hands that will sweep my unruly hair away from my face so that he can tell me "i love you, very much you know?"

♥ the hands that will get dirty peeling and feeding me durians, mangosteens and longans just so that i dun have to dirty mine.




♥ the hands that personalize my watch (which i can choose what kind of face, metallic/leather strap) so i can match with any outfit.

i love you baby. very very much.

I have no idea what's wrong with my luck but for some reason, I can't seem to get a workout in.

Something keeps happening to keep me from exercising. Either it's rain or a last minute meeting, or something!

I feel like such a slob.

Meanwhile, politics super sux.

Damn the man. Save the Empire.
